Thank you for your valuable information on the cleaning of fruits and vegetables. Here in the US recently there has been a number of people made ill and one death from eating tomatoes contaminated with salmonella bacteria. Just to be on the safe side, as you suggested, I will rinse my vegetables in a solution of vinegar and water. Thank's again.
